Dear friends, welcome to Peace Prayers. My name is Juli, the creator and host of the podcast, and I would love to be able to spend some time with you today. Our goal is to take a few moments and dive deep into God’s word before meditating on it ourselves. I’ll read a scripture from the Bible, and then pray it over our lives. Please join me in the prayer. Invite a friend to listen in and let’s begin our day with God’s peace. I am so excited to get started; thank you for joining me today.

You’re listening to Episode 123 and today’s verse is Numbers 6:24-26

‘May the Lord bless you
and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you His favor
and give you His peace.’

Let’s pray together.

LORD, Your Word says this is a special blessing. I pray it now over those hearing my voice. Let it refresh and renew them this day. May they know the powerful relief of Your words in their lives. Let them see the prosperity and the goodness of Your mercy and grace.

I pray that they will know Your divine protection, seeing a shield wall of Your angels surrounding them and their families. May they feel the almighty power of Your blood covering them from evil. I pray that You will help them wear Your armor each and every day to protect against temptation. Let no physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual attack lay hold of them. Break every evil thing against them in Your name, Jesus.

May they know the joy of Your presence and the power of Your grace. I pray they can relax today, knowing You are with them. May they feel happiness in Your love, relishing the ability to spend time with You and to understand You better. May You save them from the tediousness and the danger of a life spent without You. Have them safe and whole, hidden beneath Your wings, enjoying the intimacy of Your love.

I pray that You provide for them whatever they need, showering them with Your favor and goodness. Help them be prosperous and generous. Help them to find resources and support wherever they go, because You love giving good gifts to Your children. I pray they seek Your guidance and truth and that their decisions are marked by listening to Your will for them. Help them find all that they seek and help them ask You for help when they need it.

May they know the abundance and goodness of Your peace, calm through every storm because You are with them. When trials arise, may they persevere under You. When they are attacked or have sorrow, may You be right there, carrying them through, holding them close, and reminding them of Your love. You are the constant, so help them to feel steady with You, despite the circumstances of their lives. Bring unexplainable, everlasting, abundant peace.

Let this special blessing flow into their lives today and let it bring them new hope and a new way forward, trusting You in all, loving You most and best.

I pray these things in Your protecting and gracious name. Amen.

That is the end of our collective prayer, but don’t forget that you can keep praying and meditating on this on your own. Thank you so much for joining me and I hope you have a peaceful rest of your day. I’d love to ask you a favor before we go and that is to please subscribe and leave a review for the podcast if you haven’t already. That is the best way to invite other people to join us in our prayers and it helps me more than you can know.

I also want to get to know each other better. Follow me over on Instagram where I’ve recently updated my handle to reflect my married name. Another way to get in touch with what I’m up to is on my website at www.thejulihernandez.com. My website hosts a transcription of each prayer so that you can pray them whenever you like. You’ll also see monthly blog posts that detail my current writing projects and I can’t wait to engage with you on that. Let’s connect, but for now, Shalom.
