Dear friends, welcome to Peace Prayers. My name is Juli, and I would love to be able to spend some time with you today. What I'd like to do is read a Scripture from the Bible about peace, and then pray it together over our lives. That way we can have a few minutes to start our day with God's peace. I'm so excited to get started with you. Thank you for joining me today.

Today's verse is Psalm 29:11.

The LORD gives strength to His people. The LORD blesses His people with peace.

Let's pray together.

Father, I pray today for those who feel powerless, who feel discontent, who feel broken, lost, alone, confused. It's really easy to feel that way. There are so many things in this world that can do that for us. God, we live as a broken people because we have sinned in our lives, we've disconnected ourselves from You and You are the true source of peace.

Jesus, I don't wanna live that way anymore. And I don't want that for anyone else either. Help us to learn how to accept the gift of peace that You offer. We need Your help because we can't do it on our own. We're weak. We've fallen. We need Your strength to pick us back up. We are restless. We're confused. Now I need Your peace to remind us of who we are.

Thank You for making us Your children. Thank You for making us able to come back to You. It's through Your sacrifice that we have these things. Remind us of that today. I need that reminder today.

God, You are all powerful, and You are the only way to wholeness. So grateful for You. Build that gratitude in our hearts. Let it flow up out of us. Keep us from pride that would say we can do it on our own. We can't.

God, I lift up my life to You. I'm presenting it and all its brokenness and all the shame and guilt that I feel on a daily basis. And I'm saying, please help me. I'm vulnerable before You.

But the best part is that You are always going to say yes. You're always going to lend me Your strength and You're always going to want to give me peace. Thank You. Thank You. Jesus. Resonate that with us today.

In Your name, I pray. Amen.

That is it for me today, my friends. Thank you so much for joining, and I hope you have a wonderful peaceful rest of your day. If you'd like to connect with me, you can find me over on Instagram at thejulihernandez, and I'd love to see you there. Otherwise, we will see you on Friday.
